What if the clock on the wall is fast because an inept film-school student knocked it off the wall and broke it while using the office as a set?

Is there something you’d like to get off your chest?
In this context it would be good if the clock was fast, because then Alex could neatly step out of the way of the plane.

The alternative is having it too slow, in which case the plane would have hit already…
